Shortest answer to this is between 5-7 business days. The security deposit is a pre-approved amount in your bank account. If we don't need to capture any part of it, nothing leaves your account – it's just restored to your available balance. So, no transaction will show on your bank statement if the deposit isn't captured, leaving your balance unchanged.
Any repairs that are required because of the actions of ourselves or our guests will remain solely our responsibility.
While (as per a traditional tenancy) the owner will continue to remain responsible for the general maintenance of the property and the structure, as a gesture of goodwill we agree to cover costs of up to £250/year to try to make the whole process even more hands-free for owners. For example, if there is a boiler breakdown that costs £120, we would pay for this. We will arrange and manage the maintenance works and for anything that takes us over £250, we will contact you to discuss.
